All-American Brew Works
Biography & Highlights
E La Palma Avenue traffic is humming outside All-American Brew Works while a low bass check rattles the metal roll-up door. You'll walk past a row of parked delivery vans before you spot the hand-written sign taped to the glass. It's a working industrial park brewery in Anaheim, so don't expect a fancy marquee or velvet ropes out front. The parking lot's jammed with sedans and pickup trucks, and there's already a cluster of people smoking by the chain-link fence.
Industrial grit. Inside, massive stainless steel fermentation tanks tower right over the makeshift corner stage area. The room smells like hot mash and spilled pale ale, and the floor's sticky before the first band even plugs in their pedals. Sound bounces hard off the concrete walls and metal rafters, making every guitar riff echo straight into your chest. You'll grab a hazy IPA from the bar rail because they don't do fancy cocktails here, just cold pours in heavy plastic cups.
The sound guy's wrapping extra XLR cables around his elbow while the drummer counts off the opening track. Someone knocks a metal folding chair against a brewing vat, and the whole crowd leans in closer to the speakers.
